Our Delivery Policies
Your gifts are dispatched once confirmed and packed properly after we get the receipt of payment. It is delivered on time(set by you) in Melbourne. We give you an option to set your own time preferences for the delivery. We provide the best local delivery services with a provision to track your package online. We provide free and fast delivery across Melbourne, Australia. Delivery charges are inclusive of handling and packing fees. Delivery charges may differ from place to place based on the distance. There is no provision to combine two distinct orders that are placed separately. Both the orders will have separate delivery charges. We provide exceptional care to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized; we make sure that your items are well-protected. Once your order or item has been delivered, it is your responsibility. Our delivery partners are active throughout the delivery process.
We take orders on all days of the year and deliver your gifts on time. We are not responsible for the breakage of items after the delivery as we take extraordinary measures to handle the product. We will send an email to you regarding your package tracking information so that you can track your order. We do not entertain any changes in delivery instructions after the order confirmation.
In the occurrence of floods, heavy rains, or other severe weather conditions, Cakes to Door has the right to reschedule your delivery for another date. Note that the delivery will NOT be redirected or redelivered to any address other than the one mentioned by you. Cakes to Door attempts delivery of the items only once.
If the execution fails of such delivery, the customer shall remain to be charged for the order. We will not provide redelivery or refund. All the failed deliveries will be redirected to Cakes to Door. The customer is recommended to call us regarding their order issues.
All orders will be considered to be executed in the following cases:
- If the recipient is not available
- If the premises are found locked
- Phone off or not reachable
- If the recipient refuses the delivered item
